The Vermont Tax Seminar, Inc., is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to providing professionals current information on tax laws and regulations.

The annual Vermont Tax Seminar is a full, one-day seminar featuring the latest in federal and state tax updates from local and nationally renowned experts. Included with your registration are comprehensive resource materials including the Federal Tax Handbook and Final Program Booklet of session presentations, as well as breakfast and lunch for live and group webcast participants.

This seminar is designed for accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals, certified financial planners, professional tax practitioners and preparers, paralegals, and others who need to keep abreast of constantly changing tax laws and regulations.

Continuing Education Credit:
This seminar annually applies for continuing professional education credit in the areas listed below. Because session offerings change annually, the number of approved credit hours fluctuates each year. Once approved, the list below will indicate how many credit hours we've been approved for.
  • Vermont Insurance Agents - Approved for 6 credit hours (5 general, 1 ethics)

  • Continuing Legal Education (CLE) - Approved for 5.25 credit hours (4.25 general, 1 ethics)

  • PACE / The American College 1 credit hour is considered for every 50 minutes of program attendance. Sessions are not pre-approved. This credit type requires self-reporting.

  • Certified Financial Planners (CFP) - Approved for 5 general credit hours

  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) - 1 credit hour is considered for every 50 minutes of program attendance. Sessions are not pre-approved. This credit type requires self-reporting.
After the Seminar, a survey will be emailed to all participants. At the end of the survey, there will be an option to print a certificate of attendance for credit reporting.
